Hello from Glyphwood
The lanterns are lit and the door of the Heartwood is open. Glyphwood is here.
We are a homeschooling family of teachers, and we started Glyphwood for a simple reason: we wanted learning at home to feel like an adventure for children, and feel lighter for the grown-ups who lead it.
Our mission
To make homeschooling better for students and for parents.
For students, that means a world worth stepping into. In Glyphwood, a glyph appears whenever a learner truly understands something new. Children choose a lodge to belong to, set out on quests, and watch the woods grow brighter with everything they learn. The goal is understanding, earned and kept.
For parents, it means an extra pair of hands. You are the teacher. We are building the Steward’s Desk to help you adapt one lesson for every age at your table, rework a plan when life happens, and keep the records your state asks for.
What we are building
- Storybook quest books written by teachers, starting with simple subjects. Each one works on its own.
- The Glyphwood app, where families choose a lodge and keep a Field Journal of every glyph earned.
- The Academy, a membership with seasonal quests, the Lantern Cup and a community of families.
What we believe
- Understanding matters more than speed.
- Every child belongs somewhere, and gets to choose where.
- Parents know their children best. Our job is to help, never to replace.
- Glyphwood should fit every family, alongside your own values.
Come along
We are just getting started, and founding families will help shape what comes next. Take the Glyph Trial with your Wayfinder to find a lodge, then save your family’s place on the waitlist.
Welcome to the woods.
